Championing the School-Led System
Welcome to the Dartmoor Teaching School Alliance website. We are passionate about the learning and development of all staff that, in turn, leads to better outcomes for children. We are a uniquely cross-phase Alliance, which prides itself on responding to the needs and aspirations of all members, from Early Years settings to Post-16. Our way of working is rooted in co-operatives values and we are keen to welcome any schools and organisation who share these approaches. The Alliance is lead by Okehampton College, which was designated a Teaching School as part of Cohort 7. It serves schools in Central and West Devon.

There is a real desire to see member schools develop and it is by working through true collaboration that we will support schools in the future. We want to work alongside colleagues who share our philosophy about education. If you feel that our cross-phase model would help support and assist you in your development, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Contact details: email@example.com

I am passionate about the role of teaching schools in supporting schools to lead their own improvement. My role is to ensure that the Dartmoor TSA delivers a wide range of aims in line with our core values and vision. A key part of the role is also to ensure that what do is shaped by the aspirations and needs of the alliance members. In a rapidly-changing educational landscape, I think teaching schools will be at the forefront of showing that a school-led system is the most effective way to improve outcomes for all pupils.
